Va Adaxo- primo studio

Va Adaxo- Go slowly in Genovese dialect- is a short solo created in June 2016 during a residency at Clarence Mews Studio, as part of the research for Va Adaxo che amannaman ti càzzi.

A body experiencing absence. A body that is moved from the outside, looking for shapes to fill, pathways to remember, movements that were already there. This solo surreally intertwines memories from different generations and cultures, exploring the sense of absence, aging and the act of remembering, compared to the act of falling – something that happens to your physical self and takes you through a journey of uncontrolled freedom and ruthless reality.

Concept and performance: Virginia Scudeletti
Mentor: Caroline Salem
Supported by  Clarence Mews Studios(London) and Spazio Saravà (Genova)
